1. Simba Money is not a bank
Simba Money LLC is a financial technology company. It is not a bank and does not hold U.S. banking, lending, money transmitter or insurance licenses. Any banking products would be provided by a partner bank, and other regulated services by appropriately licensed providers, under their own terms.
2. Development stage — no products offered
The U.S. platform is in development. Through this Website we do not open accounts, accept deposits, issue cards, extend credit, transmit money, sell or solicit insurance, or provide immigration or admissions services. No partner bank, card issuer, payment provider or university partnership is announced on this Website. Nothing here is an offer or a solicitation.
3. Deposit insurance
No Simba Money product is FDIC-insured, and we make no claim of FDIC insurance. If eligible deposits are held at an FDIC-insured partner bank in the future, FDIC insurance would cover only the failure of that insured bank, up to applicable limits and subject to conditions. FDIC insurance does not protect against the failure of a non-bank company such as Simba Money.
4. Credit products
No credit product is available. Any future secured or unsecured card would be issued by a partner lender, subject to its underwriting, eligibility criteria, pricing and applicable law, including requirements for applicants under 21. Approval would not be guaranteed.
5. Payments
Payment types, methods, fees and posting times shown or described are illustrative. Planned payments are domestic — tuition payments, ACH, domestic wire and direct deposit from a U.S. account. International money transfers, including transfers from a student's home country, are not part of the planned U.S. product. Any future payment service would be provided by the partner bank or licensed providers, with the applicable disclosures before payment.
6. Specialist services
Simba Money is not a law firm, an insurance producer or a wireless carrier. It does not provide immigration legal advice; legal matters should be handled by a licensed attorney or an accredited representative. Visa decisions are made by U.S. authorities and admissions decisions by institutions. Insurance would be offered only by licensed carriers and producers, and connectivity only by carriers. No admission, visa, coverage or other outcome is guaranteed.
7. Universities
“Your University” and other campus names and designs on this Website are fictional placeholders. References to universities or campus programs do not imply any partnership, endorsement or approval. Any campus program would require institutional permission, issuer approval and card network review.
8. Simba Group companies and Simba Money Tanzania
Simba Group companies and brands are shown to describe our corporate background, using information published by the group. They are not providers of U.S. financial services, and their inclusion does not imply any U.S. partnership. Simba Money (Private) Limited states that it is authorised and regulated by the Bank of Tanzania as an Electronic Money Institution; that authorization applies in Tanzania only.
9. Statistics and sources
Market statistics are attributed to their sources — the Institute of International Education's Open Doors 2025 and NAFSA's International Student Economic Value Tool (2024–25) — and are provided for context. We do not guarantee third-party data.
10. Forward-looking statements
Statements about plans, features, partners, roadmaps and timing are forward-looking. They reflect current intentions, depend on agreements, regulatory requirements and approvals, and may change or not occur.
